The goal of staging is to provide a more pleasing and updated view of a home that is placed on the market to sell. This process is like theater; you are setting a stage by accentuating the positive aspects of the home.

Since almost 90% of home buyers search online for a potential home, the image portrayed in your photos will determine if the buyer will find the home appealing. Some buyers can see past clutter, outdated furnishings and unusual paint colors, but many people will benefit from the presentation of a staged home.

Based on a 2018 survey of 4,270 professionally staged homes, 68% of these homes sold for at least 9% more than their unstaged neighbors. ( Home Staging Resource) It is significant to note that staged properties spend 90% less time on the market. (RESA 2016)
RESA studied 174 homes previously on the market on average 156 days before the homeowners gave up trying to sell on their own and called in a professional home stager. Those same homes were staged, re-listed and sold in an average of 42 days after staging. This is 73% less time on the market.
